Thanks to Google Maps, you can now stroll through viae of Pompeii via your web browser!  Some of Streetview photos appear to be user generated, so you will certainly see your share of tourists.  But hey, it's Pompeii in your classroom!

Google Earth has added its first ancient city - Roma circa 320 AD.  If you have never tried Google Earth, it's a free download which allows you to "fly" all over the planet, view the stars, and now time travel.  Visit the links below for a quick demo and review.  Please note that if you have an older PC or Mac you may have some trouble with the software.  The system requirements are listed at the bottom of this post.
