Seeking Photos & Memories of the Past 50 Years of CAES

As the 50th year of CAES draws to a close with our 51st Annual Institute in October, we are seeking photos and notes of times past with our CAES colleagues. These do not have to be photos of CAES events, but should involve CAES members past and present. Latin Teacher Named 2015 NYS Teacher of the Year

On Tuesday, 9/16, Charles Giglio was named the 2015 New York State Teacher of the Year by the Board of Regents in Albany. Magister Giglio is the Latin teacher at Gloversville High School and Middle School. Tibi congratulor, Magister! I hope we will get to congratulate you in person at the Institute in October.

Register Soon for the 51st Annual Institute

A preliminary program has been posted for the upcoming 51st Annual Institute (Albany, October 24-26). You will note that we have a wide range of workshops and activities planned, for teachers of all levels of Latin and the Classics. If you are planning to attend, please register soon! The deadline to get the CAES conference rate at the Hilton Garden Inn is September 23.
